Introduction :-
So far we have learn about to types of integrations that is definite integration and indefinite
integration in this unit definite integration will further be explained in three methods name
as reduction formulae gamma of function and beta function..
1) Reduction formula:-
● It is useful for evaluating integration of trigonometric function with angular integral.
(With limits) (limits lies between 0 to π/2)
● Which are not immediately solvable due to their higher powers.
2) Gamma function:-
● It is useful for evaluating integrals with higher power of X multiply by exponential functions with limits (0 to infinity)
3) Beta function:-
● It is useful for evaluating integrals with higher power of X multiply by higher power of 1 - X with limits.. ( 0 to 1)
4) Differentiation under the integral sign (DUIS):-
● DUIS is an effective technique used in evaluation of real definite integrals.
● Rule 1 -
